We would like to give a huge welcome to Andre, Marthe, max, Kristin, Hugo, Alexandra who will soon be PADI Instructors and “teaching the world to dive”.
The course is run by Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod and takes place at Trawangan Dive; the first established PADI Career Development Center (CDC) in the Gili Islands.
Holly Has over a decade of experience within the diving industry; having worked in a variety of countries including Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and of course Indonesia. She has also worked within a variety of diving related roles meaning that she is able to advise graduates of what to expect from a potential opportunity and what expect from working in particular areas.
Once the PADI IDC is finished there are also a range of career enhancing opportunities available to graduates including the PADI IDC Gili Islands MSDT preparation course. We also run a variety of conservation programs including the PADI IDC Indonesia Reef Restoration and the PADI IDC Indonesia Livaboard Internship.

Looking to become a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor? Check out our PADI IDC Gili Islands Program! Our Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod can prepare you for a rewarding and successful career as a PADI Scuba Instructor.
After the IDC you will also be able to gain immediate teaching experience, by shadowing one or more of the dive center staff teaching a PADI course. You see for yourself the practicalities of running a course, and make a smooth transition to teaching students of your own.
The PADI Divemaster course is your first step towards becoming a dive professional. Our Divemaster trainee program is run on an internship basis where you become part of our dive team and work with our team of experienced Instructors, whilst developing your own dive leadership abilities.
During the course you will build on your dive knowledge and refine your skills to a professional standard. As a PADI Divemaster you are qualified to supervise certain dive activities and assist instructors with student divers on PADI training courses. PADI IDC Indonesia 2015.

The PADI IDC Gili Islands with Award Winning Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod takes place at the only PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center (CDC) in Gili Trawangan, Indonesia.
During the program candidates will develop their skills as professionals within the recreational diving industry. As well as taking part in the required PADI Instructor Development Curriculum our Platinum PADI Course Director includes a variety of additional workshops.
The course runs over a period of 11 days with an additional 5 days of preparation. The preparation period is designed to review and practice the skills and knowledge learnt during the Divemaster Course. As well as the PADI Skill Circuit, Instructor candidates will also review diving theory so as to make the perfect start on the PADI IDC Indonesia Program.
The 11 day course covers all of the mandatory presentations which can be found on any PADI Instructor Development Course. Mandatory sessions take place in the classroom, the swimming pool and the ocean.
In the classroom candidates will study Standards and Procedures, Risk Management, The 4 E’s of Sales, Marketing, Diver Acquisition, Diver Retention, and The Business of Diving. candidates will also practice their individual Knowledge Development teaching presentations during classroom sessions.
In the swimming pool Platinum PADI Course Director Holly, will conducted a range of confined sessions including a Rescue Workshop, a Skills Workshop, a DSD Workshop and Rescue Exercise 7 Practice. Candidates will also practice their individual confined teaching presentations whilst being evaluated by the Course Director.
